Bob has helped lead CFED’s effort to open real opportunities for all Americans to save, go to college, start businesses, buy (and keep) homes, and build their economic futures and ours. Bob and CFED sponsored the American Dream Demonstration and the SEED child savings initiative that proved that given the opportunity, low-income and even very poor working families — adults and children — would embrace and achieve dreams.

My granddaughter, Olivia Danger, will go to college — not just because she is bright, curious and totally engaging — but because she will have good schooling and a college savings account which makes college both possible and expected. All kids in America deserve that opportunity — and, in the end, the whole country will be better for their education, work and contributions.
